Thursday now looking a little bland

Except in the northeast of Scotland the latest GFS forecast solution for Thursday seems to be a much blander affair than it was forecast to be over the weekend. At worst it’s a short-lived northwesterly that will just about see Saturday out. It’s a shame that the lows forecast to cross west-east into France at 47° north later on Saturday and into Sunday don’t run just a little bit further north along the channel.
